Raphaël Cottin is the Chair of the Research Council of the International Council of Kinetography Laban. He will introduce the workshop participants to Kinetography Laban (Labanotation), a system for analysing and recording human movements with the use of symbols. The workshop will start with movement exploration, allowing the participants to meet the fundamentals of movement (space-time, weight, etc.). The participants will also be able to read simple scores and discover the dance heritage as well.
