Besides the basic meaning, it is…
- firstly: the nickname of the Hungarian poet/writer Dezső Kosztolányi
- secondly: Desiré’s Tram – a successful series of cultural events in ‘Kosztolányi Dezső’ Theatre in Subotica, presenting national and international contemporary artists since 2006
- thirdly: our long-cherished desire, an international theatre festival which we no longer have to wait for

CALL FOR APPLICATION – Desiré Central Station 2010
We are happy to announce that the Kosztolanyi Dezso Theater has begun the preparations for its second international theatre festival (Desiré Central Station 2010) motivated by the success of the first festival Desire Central Station 2009.
This year’s festival will be held in November with the subheading: North/South.
The organizing team of DCS 2010 is looking for performances to put in the program of the festival!
We are looking forward to receiving applications until 30th August 2010, to the following address:

The application should contain the technical rider of the performance, the approximate costs of transportation and performance, and also a recording of the performance on DVD.
